It is obvious that this is another Christmas Celebration during an ongoing pandemic wherein people aren’t that fond of. Although, that doesn’t stop us on giving off positive vibes during this once a year of a season. We all know that the Christmas season is nothing new to us, but due to the pandemic, it has become quite a hassle. This is a challenge for all of us to overcome.   As of my opinion, this Christmas season, I have a feeling that it won’t be so bad and I have high hopes for that.                Every child is special. Childhood is known to be an important part of a person’s life. All of us have been through that timeline and many more will. It is a time wherein you get to be innocent and have fun without a care in the world. Life as a child was like unicorns and rainbows. Although not all of the children get the chance to be “free” and “innocent” nor have a life filled with “unicorns and rainbows”. Many even had to set their dreams aside to work and earn money for a living, just to help their family.               I can’t say that I have learnt much, really school, for me only has the stressful and that’s all I did was read answer and anxiously think about the deadline, since we have tight    schedules passing our answer sheets and its frustrating. I can’t learn when I’m   not even happy doing so. I don’t have the same will nor drive to learn life has be torture for me honestly. Being mentally and emotionally unstable just makes it worse. Although the thing I have learned is during my darkest times. I’ll only have myself-especially as I “progress” in activities, task and projects given for me to undertake.              It’s clear that I haven’t been doing well at school but I will try.                  Filipinos are known to be at ease during storms and typhoons, since we are actually used to situations as these. Either rain or shine, we advance to enhance our country as one. Although, ever since the pandemic has taken over our beloved nation, it was seen that many have suffered – from being financially broke, losing jobs, the peoples mental health taking its toll, countless deaths and many more due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is to be said that our “bayanihan spirit” wasn’t really seen nor observed as of those times due to the fact that many civilians only thought about themselves and didn’t really take the pandemic seriously which lead to suffering, death and the people to mourn. It is also to be said that a lot of people in our government are corrupted and may even use us for their needs and wants, which is just real talk.                   The struggle to learn during the pandemic is no joke for most students. It is clear that we are experiencing difficulties when it comes to school. It’s just that nowadays, learning is not as productive nor joyous like before. As a 10 th  grader from a public school, even students from a private school, many relate to the fact that I, myself, is having trouble keeping up with the lessons and activities given for us to undertake.                  We students do believe that education is the most lethal weapon to have as we excel in life and face endless trials that come our way. Although, it is to be said that we no longer have the same drive nor excitement to learn. There is nothing much we can do as mere students.
